My husband, of 50 years, Gary, passed away in 2017 from Multiple Myeloma. During his treatment we participated in support groups and monthly meetings. Gary made friends with other patients and shared his concerns with me about the hardships others were facing. After Gary died, my family and I wanted to support others facing a similar situation. I began giving monthly in 2017. Gary was a man of many interests and talents, and this is a way to keep his memory alive.

 

 

Your monthly gifts in action:

 

$25 MONTHLY means each month a patient in need can receive a gift card for gas, groceries, hospital parking, or personal care items through the QEII Patient Essentials Fund.
$35 MONTHLY towards Most Urgent Needs will make a real impact where the QEII needs it most. Allowing healthcare teams to swiftly address any pressing needs that arise.
$45 MONTHLY joins together with others to provide the best cancer care, research, and technology for patients and their families.
$83 MONTHLY will directly help a patient through the QEII Patient Assistance Fund. Emergency grants to help patients with their most critical needs — like medication or equipment not covered by insurance, food, rent or mortgage payments, utilities, and car expenses.
